Member Directory
The NYC Reuse Directory provides profiles of reuse organizations serving NYC’s Businesses & Residents. New York City is home to many successful materials exchange and reuse organizations. These organizations help redistribute unwanted, yet usable, goods. Some of the reusable resources they manage include computers, bicycles, building materials, industrial discards, office furniture, surplus food, and textiles.
More Info
Donating or selling used items through materials exchanges or reuse organizations helps those in need, provides a source of revenue for charitable organizations, and can provide a tax deduction. Purchasing used goods can also help you save money. Beneficiaries on either side of these exchanges (donors, sellers, recipients, or buyers) can be businesses, nonprofits, schools, community groups, and individuals.
The organizations profiled in this directory participate in MEDP’s network of materials exchange and reuse organizations. MEDP provides its member organizations access to networking opportunities, capacitybuilding training programs, and informational resources.
If your reuse organization is interested in becoming a member of MEDP and would like to be profiled in this directory, please contact info@nycmedp.org.
