This committee will explore issues of outreach, advocacy and legislation facing NYC reuse programs, both as individual organizations and as a “community.” Organizations will work to recruit new organizations, explore avenues of promoting the practice of reuse and the activities of the sector, engaging both NYC residents and local government. Special attention will be paid to the using of collective data and impact statistics to define and further awareness and understanding of the social, economic and environmental benefits of materials reuse.
